Controlled-rate thermal analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002534
A thermal analysis technique where the rate of change of a sample property, such as mass or enthalpy, is kept constant by dynamically adjusting the temperature program. This approach allows for better resolution of overlapping thermal events and provides more detailed kinetic information. It contrasts with conventional thermal analysis where the temperature program is fixed.
