Thermo- technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011956
A method of thermal analysis that involves measuring a physical property of a substance as a function of temperature while the substance is subjected to a controlled temperature program. These techniques are employed to study material transformations and reactions. Examples include thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
