Characteristic temperatures

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001887

Specific temperatures at which a polymer undergoes distinct physical or chemical transitions, such as changes in its mechanical properties or phase. These transitions are typically identified through thermal analysis techniques like differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) or thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Examples include the glass transition temperature, melting temperature, and decomposition temperature.
