Thermomanometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011975
A thermal analysis technique that measures the pressure of the gas evolved from a substance as a function of temperature while the substance is subjected to a controlled temperature program. The measurement is performed in a closed system of constant volume. This method is used to study decomposition reactions, desorption processes, and other phenomena that produce a change in gas pressure.
