Degree of bioassimilation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002938
The extent to which a material or its degradation products are absorbed and incorporated into the metabolic processes of a living organism. This measure quantifies the uptake and integration of substances into biological systems. It is often expressed as a percentage of the initial material that has been assimilated.
