Discriminant analysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003287

A statistical technique used to classify observations into predefined groups based on a set of predictor variables. It constructs linear combinations of these variables to maximize the separation between group means. This method is applied in drug design to distinguish between active and inactive compounds based on their molecular properties.
