Effect of a factor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003578
The change in a response variable that occurs when a factor's level is altered, while other factors are held constant. This quantifies the influence of a single experimental variable on the outcome. It is often calculated as the difference between the average response at the high level and the average response at the low level of the factor.
