Electroencephalography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003680
A neurophysiological monitoring method that records the electrical activity of the brain, typically from electrodes placed on the scalp. This technique measures voltage fluctuations resulting from ionic current flows within the neurons of the brain. Electroencephalography is used to diagnose conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain tumors.
