Embryogenesis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003835
The intricate biological process by which a multicellular organism develops from a single-celled zygote into an embryo. This developmental sequence involves cell division, differentiation, and morphogenesis, leading to the formation of distinct tissues and organs. In humans, embryogenesis encompasses the first eight weeks following fertilization.
