Gametocide

A chemical agent that inhibits the formation or function of gametes, thereby inducing sterility in plants or animals. These substances are used in agriculture to prevent unwanted reproduction, such as in hybrid seed production or pest control. They can act by disrupting meiosis or gamete maturation processes.
