Chemosteriliser

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001992

A chemical compound that induces sterility in an organism, preventing reproduction without necessarily causing death. These agents interfere with the reproductive processes, such as gamete formation or fertilization, in target organisms. They are sometimes employed in pest control strategies to reduce populations by inhibiting their ability to procreate.
