Gastrula
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004776
An early embryonic stage in which the single-layered blastula undergoes a process of cellular rearrangement and differentiation. During this stage, the three primary germ layers (ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm) are formed. These layers will subsequently give rise to all the tissues and organs of the developing organism.
