Helix residue
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005170
A repeating monomer unit within a polymer chain that is incorporated into a helical conformation. Each residue contributes to the overall structure and properties of the helix. The number of residues per turn and the axial rise per residue define the specific geometry of the helix.
