Right-handed helix
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010353
A helical polymer chain conformation in which the chain progresses away from the observer in a clockwise direction when viewed along the helix axis. This handedness is determined by the spatial arrangement of the repeating units. Many biological macromolecules, such as B-DNA, adopt a right-handed helical structure.
