Hepatosplenomegaly

A medical condition defined by the concurrent swelling and enlargement of the liver (hepatomegaly) and the spleen (splenomegaly). It is not a disease itself but a clinical sign of an underlying disorder, such as a viral infection, metabolic disease, or hematological malignancy. The condition is diagnosed through physical examination (palpation) and confirmed with medical imaging techniques like ultrasound or computed tomography (CT) scans.
