Ventriculomegaly

An abnormal enlargement of the cerebral ventricles, which are fluid-filled cavities within the brain. This condition indicates an increase in the volume of cerebrospinal fluid within these spaces. It can be diagnosed prenatally or postnatally through imaging techniques such as ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging.
