Magnetic resonance spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006910
A non-invasive analytical technique that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to detect and quantify specific metabolites within tissues. It provides biochemical information about the composition of a sample, such as the concentrations of neurotransmitters, amino acids, or lipids. This method is often used in medical imaging to study brain metabolism and diagnose neurological disorders.
