Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001818

The largest part of the brain, located in the front and upper part of the skull, divided into two hemispheres. It is responsible for higher-level functions such as thought, language, memory, and voluntary movement. The cerebrum's outer layer, the cerebral cortex, is highly convoluted, increasing its surface area for neural processing.
