Supratentorial

Describing anatomical structures or pathological processes located above the tentorium cerebelli, a dural fold that separates the cerebrum from the cerebellum. This region includes the cerebral hemispheres, basal ganglia, and diencephalon. Lesions in this area can lead to a variety of neurological deficits depending on their specific location.
