Supramolecule
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011623
A well-defined chemical entity formed by the non-covalent association of two or more molecular entities. These assemblies are held together by intermolecular forces such as hydrogen bonds, van der Waals forces, or electrostatic interactions, rather than covalent bonds. Examples include host-guest complexes and self-assembled structures.
