Intermolecular
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005958
Relating to interactions or phenomena occurring between separate molecules. These forces, such as van der Waals forces or hydrogen bonds, influence the physical properties of substances like boiling points and solubility. For example, the intermolecular hydrogen bonding in water contributes to its relatively high boiling point compared to other hydrides.
