Phase interaction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008743

The forces and phenomena occurring at the interface between two distinct phases within a multiphase material. These interactions can be physical, such as van der Waals forces, or chemical, such as hydrogen bonding or covalent linkages. The nature and strength of phase interactions significantly influence the morphology, stability, and macroscopic properties of polymer blends and composites.
