Cerebral hemisphere

One of the two large, symmetrical halves of the cerebrum, separated by the longitudinal fissure. Each hemisphere controls the opposite side of the body and specializes in different cognitive functions. The left hemisphere is typically associated with language and logic, while the right is linked to spatial and creative abilities.
