Dominant hemisphere

The cerebral hemisphere that is primarily responsible for certain specialized functions, particularly language and analytical processing. For most right-handed individuals, the left hemisphere is dominant, while for some left-handed individuals, the right hemisphere or both may show dominance. This specialization is a key aspect of brain lateralization.
