Sagittal

Describing an anatomical plane that divides a body or organ into left and right portions. This division can be precisely down the midline, known as the median sagittal plane, or offset from the midline, referred to as a parasagittal plane. Such planes are used in medical imaging and anatomical studies to orient structures.
