Scaphocephaly

A congenital malformation of the skull characterized by premature fusion of the sagittal suture, resulting in a long, narrow, and wedge-shaped head. This condition is the most common form of craniosynostosis. It can lead to increased intracranial pressure and developmental delays if not corrected surgically.
