Coronal suture

A fibrous joint that connects the frontal bone to the two parietal bones of the skull. This suture runs across the top of the head, roughly from ear to ear, and is a key landmark in cranial anatomy. It typically fuses completely in adulthood, contributing to the rigidity of the skull.
