Hit threshold
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005323
A predefined statistical or biological cutoff value used to distinguish active compounds (hits) from inactive ones in a screening assay. Compounds exhibiting activity beyond this threshold are considered potential candidates for further investigation. This threshold is often determined based on the assay's variability and desired stringency.
