Immune elimination
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005640
The process by which the immune system removes foreign substances, such as pathogens or toxins, from the body. This involves recognition of the foreign material by immune cells and antibodies, followed by their neutralization, phagocytosis, or lysis. The efficiency of immune elimination can vary depending on the nature of the antigen and the host's immune status.
