Immune deviation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005639
A shift in the balance of immune responses, typically referring to a change in the type of T helper cell response (e.g., from Th1 to Th2 or vice versa). This alteration can influence the outcome of an immune response, potentially leading to increased susceptibility to certain pathogens or the development of allergic or autoimmune conditions. It represents a departure from a balanced adaptive immune system.
