Immune regulation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005646
The complex set of processes that maintain the balance and control of immune responses within an organism. This involves mechanisms that prevent excessive or inappropriate immune activation, such as tolerance induction and the action of regulatory T cells. Dysregulation of these processes can lead to autoimmune disorders or immunodeficiency.
