Th9 cell
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011917
A type of helper T lymphocyte that produces interleukin-9 (IL-9) and interleukin-10 (IL-10). These cells are involved in immune responses against extracellular pathogens and contribute to allergic inflammation. Th9 cells are distinct from other helper T cell subsets like Th1, Th2, and Th17, which produce different cytokine profiles.
