Th2 cell
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011915
A type of helper T lymphocyte that primarily secretes cytokines such as interleukin-4 (IL-4), IL-5, IL-6, IL-10, and IL-13. These cells are central to humoral immunity, promoting B cell activation and antibody production, and are involved in allergic reactions and defense against parasitic infections. Their development is often stimulated by IL-4.
