Initiator efficiency

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005873

The fraction of the added initiator that successfully produces active species capable of initiating polymer chain growth. It reflects how effectively the initiator contributes to the formation of propagating polymer chains. This value is influenced by factors such as temperature, solvent, and the presence of inhibitors.
