Isotopically enriched ions
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006252
Ions that have a higher abundance of a specific isotope than its natural isotopic abundance. These ions are produced by using starting materials that have been artificially enriched with a particular isotope. Isotopically enriched ions are widely used as internal standards in quantitative mass spectrometry and for mechanistic studies.
