Isotopic enrichment factor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006243
A quantitative measure of the effectiveness of a separation process in increasing the relative abundance of a specific isotope. It is defined as the ratio of the isotopic abundance of the desired isotope in the enriched product to its abundance in the starting material. This factor indicates the degree of separation achieved for a particular isotope pair.
