Isotopologue

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006258

A molecular entity that differs from another only in the isotopic composition of its constituent atoms. For example, H2O, HDO, and D2O are isotopologues of water. They possess the same chemical formula and connectivity but vary in the number of neutrons in one or more atoms.
