Kuhn segment length
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006391
The effective length of a Kuhn segment, representing the average length of a hypothetical rigid segment in a polymer chain that can freely rotate. This parameter quantifies the stiffness or flexibility of a polymer chain in solution. A larger Kuhn segment length indicates a stiffer polymer chain.
