Lipidome
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006659
The entire complement of lipid molecules present within a cell, tissue, organism, or biological system at a specific time. This collection includes all lipid classes, such as fatty acids, glycerolipids, sphingolipids, and sterol lipids. The lipidome is highly dynamic and can change significantly in response to physiological or pathological stimuli.
