Lipid profiling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013238
The systematic identification and quantification of lipids within a biological system or sample. This analytical approach aims to characterize the entire lipidome or specific lipid classes to understand their roles in biological processes and disease states. It typically involves techniques such as mass spectrometry coupled with chromatography.
