Lordosis

An exaggerated inward curvature of the spine, particularly in the lumbar or cervical regions. In toxicology, it can refer to a specific posture adopted by female mammals during estrus, indicating sexual receptivity. This behavioral response is often used in reproductive toxicology studies to assess hormonal effects.
