Lumbar spine

The lower section of the vertebral column, consisting of five vertebrae (L1-L5) located between the thoracic spine and the sacrum. This region supports the weight of the upper body and provides flexibility for movement. The lumbar spine is a common site for disc herniation and other musculoskeletal issues.
