Loss curve
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006773
A plot showing the variation of the loss modulus or loss tangent of a material as a function of temperature or frequency. This curve illustrates the energy dissipated as heat during cyclic deformation. Peaks in the loss curve correspond to molecular relaxations or transitions within the polymer.
