Damping curve

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002854

A graphical representation of the decay in amplitude of oscillations over time, typically observed in dynamic mechanical analysis of polymers. It illustrates how energy is dissipated within the material during deformation. The shape of the curve provides information about the viscoelastic properties and energy absorption capabilities of the polymer.
