Dynamic thermomechanometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003507
A thermal analysis technique that measures the mechanical properties of a material as a function of temperature, time, and frequency while the material is subjected to an oscillating force. This method provides information about a material's viscoelastic behavior, including its storage modulus, loss modulus, and damping factor. It is widely used to characterize polymers and composites across their glass transition temperatures.
