M diad
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006857
A sequence of two consecutive monomeric units in a polymer chain where the substituents on the main chain are on the same side, relative to the backbone. This arrangement is also known as a meso diad. It is a measure of tacticity, specifically referring to the relative configuration of two adjacent chiral centers.
