Tritactic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012307
A tactic polymer whose configurational repeating unit contains three stereoisomeric sites, each with a defined relative configuration. This leads to a highly ordered arrangement of substituents along the polymer chain. The specific stereoisomerism at these sites dictates the overall tacticity and properties of the polymer.
