Transtactic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012269
A polymer in which all of the configurational base units along the main chain have a trans configuration. This specific arrangement of substituents around a double bond or within a ring structure dictates the polymer's overall stereochemistry. The trans configuration implies that substituents are on opposite sides of the reference plane.
