Transsynaptic
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012268
Describing a process or effect that extends across one or more synapses, involving the transmission of signals from one neuron to another. This can include the movement of substances or the propagation of electrical impulses through a neural circuit. Neurotransmitters mediate transsynaptic communication at chemical synapses.
