Measured spectrum

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007092

A graphical representation of the intensity of a physical quantity as a function of another quantity, such as energy, wavelength, or mass-to-charge ratio, obtained directly from an analytical instrument. It displays the distribution of a signal across a range of values. For instance, an infrared spectrum plots absorbance against wavenumber.
